Aviation Consulting &
Airworthiness Management

Independent aviation support built on safety, trust, and transparency.

GREF Aviation provides continuing airworthness management services in Switzerland to keep your aircraft safe, compliant, and operational. Our scope includes maintenance programme control and planning, Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service Bulletin (SB) monitoring, defect and reliability follow-up, technical records management, airworthiness reviews, and issuance/recommendation of the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC), as applicable under EASA rules.

We also support aircraft transactions and transitions, including acquisition and sale support, import/export coordination, and aircraft registration or re-registration.

For operators and organizations under development, we assist with implementation and compliance for EASA Part-CAMO, Part-21J, and Part-IS, including processes, manuals, and readiness for authority oversight.

Information security is embedded in our operations in line with EASA Part-IS to reduce cyber risk and reinforce stakeholder confidence.

Services

Owning a business jet should be straightforward. Delays usually come from maintenance planning, compliance obligations, and technical records. GREF Aviation is a Swiss CAMO approved by FOCA, holding CAMO+ privileges to perform airworthiness reviews and issue or recommend the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC), as applicable.

Typical support

  • Maintenance planning and tracking to reduce downtime and avoid missed deadlines
  • AMP and MEL development and control that is compliant and practical for flight crews
  • AD and SB assessment and compliance tracking for a clear aircraft status
  • Defect and deferred defect control including technical log follow up
  • Records and logbook control with traceability, status reports, and audit readiness
  • AOG support to speed up decision making and return to service
  • Airworthiness Review and ARC preparation, review, and issuance under Swiss CAMO+
Aircraft transactions are rarely about choosing a “nice” aircraft. They are about avoiding hidden cost drivers, downtime risk, and documentation gaps. We support buyers and sellers as an independent technical advisor, helping you complete the deal with confidence and clear facts.

Our focus is practical and risk based. Are the records complete and traceable. Does the aircraft condition match the documentation. What will drive cost and downtime after purchase.

Typical support

  • Records and logbook due diligence including AD and SB status, damage history, and modification review
  • Maintenance status review including major inspections, life limited parts, and aging items
  • Pre purchase inspection planning and coordination with the selected facility
  • Findings assessment to separate critical issues from negotiable items
  • Acceptance and delivery support to ensure a clean handover and complete documentation

For sellers, we can also prepare the aircraft and documentation before marketing to reduce issues during the PPI. We can create a structured sales package, manage incoming technical questions, and support the process through LOI, APA, PPI, and export steps.

Importing or exporting an aircraft, or changing the country of registration, can be straightforward. It can also create delays through extra inspections, missing documents, and compliance gaps that keep the aircraft grounded. We help owners and flight crews manage the process with a clear plan, focusing on documentation, compliance, and timing to achieve minimal downtime.

Typical support

  • Preparation of the documentation package including status, traceability, and compliance evidence
  • Configuration and compliance checks including AD and SB, modifications and STCs, and equipment status
  • Planning bridging actions to meet requirements without surprises
  • Coordination with the relevant parties to support a timely transition
When setting up a Part CAMO or Part 21J organization, the goal is not only approval. The goal is a system that works day to day with clear responsibilities, simple processes, and documentation that stands up during oversight without creating unnecessary administration.

Where required, we can integrate EASA Part IS to provide a structured information security management framework. This strengthens control of sensitive operational and maintenance information, supports business continuity, and improves audit readiness.

Typical support

  • Definition of scope, roles and interfaces to clarify responsibilities and workflows
  • Development and implementation of procedures and manuals that are compliant and usable
  • Creation of a compliance matrix and implementation plan
  • Internal audits and readiness reviews before oversight visits
  • Practical support with authority liaison and approval readiness
  • Part IS integration including risk assessment approach, responsibilities, incident reporting flow, and evidence preparation for oversight audits
